World Immunicazation Week is celebrated the last week of April to highlight the benefits of both children and adult vaccinations to protect from vaccine-preventable diseases. In 2022 both the WHO and UNICEF sounded the alarm as new data showed global coverage continue to decline in 2021. The largest decline in childhood vaccinatins in approximately 30 years. This decline is believed to be due in part to the Covid pandemic. The WHO have marketed this world immunization week as the Big Catchup.
