Thanks to generous donors who supported the EHFC Student Bursary to Support Attendance at the National AEC - ten graduating students were able to attend the Sept 2025 CIPHI AEC hosted in Kelowna BC. EHFC Chair Lena Parker presented each bursary student recipient with a cheque to cover the cost of the student registration fee.

Since 2010, the EHFC Board has sponsored 111 students to attend the National CIPHI AEC, totaling $30,100 in financial support, thanks to our donors and Board fundraising.  The Board of Trustees approves annually a $5,000 bursary (if funds are raised) to financially support students or new graduates from the CIPHI accredited schools to attend the CIPHI National Annual Education Conference.  The bursary is awarded to CIPHI students on a first come first serve basis to cover the cost of the "early bird" student registration fee.  The cost for travel and accommodations is the responsibility of the students.  This bursary has resulted in a positive outcome for the recipients in that the majority are able to secure field placement training and/or full-time job offers.
