Today is World Malaria Day. It is preventable. 95% of all cases are in African regions. World-wide in 2021 there were 619,000 malaria deaths and 247 new cases of malaria. The theme for 2023 is "Time to delvier zero malaria - invest, innovate, implement". The World Health Organization will focus on "implent" - notably the critical importance of reaching marginalized populations with the tools and stragies that are available today.

In 2022, one of the EHFC Board of Trustees fundraising aid projects was to partner with Against Malaria Canada www.AgainstMalaris.com Through support of our donors we were able to donate $2,5000 to fund 686 mosquito bed nets that will protect 1,235 people which represents 3 villages in the Republic of Chad, Central Africa.
