Food Safety Temperature SymbolsCopyright and trademark registration has been obtained for food safety temperature symbols for use on perishable food packaging and as part of an educational strategy on food safety. The strategy includes a promotional campaign to encourage the food industry to use them on potentially hazardous food packaging so consumers will look for the symbols as a guide for safe storage.
